Putter Fitting

Putters get less fitting attention than any other club in the bag, despite accounting for close to half your total strokes. Length, lie, and face balance all shift start line and roll quality more than most golfers realize.

What We Capture

Your Stroke Path, Not a Guess Off a Rack

We use a dedicated putting capture system to log stroke path, face angle at impact, and start line consistency across a range of putter head styles, lengths, and lie angles, so your setup supports the stroke you actually have instead of the one you're told to build.

Face balance matters more here than anywhere else in the bag — a face-balanced head suits an arcing stroke very differently than a toe-hang head suits a straight-back-straight-through stroke.

The Variables

What Actually Changes in a Putter Fitting

Length

Putter length affects posture and eye position over the ball, which changes aim more than most golfers expect from a single-inch difference.

Lie Angle

A putter that's too upright or too flat at address tilts the face relative to your eyeline, biasing start direction before the stroke even begins.

Face Balance

Toe-hang, mid-hang, and face-balanced heads each suit a different stroke arc — matching head style to stroke shape improves start-line consistency.

Head Weight

Heavier heads generally suit faster greens and shorter strokes; lighter heads suit slower greens and a longer, flowing tempo.

Grip Style

Grip shape and size influence hand action through the stroke, which can either stabilize or destabilize face angle at impact.

Loft

Putter loft is set to match your typical forward press and ball position, so the ball starts rolling rather than hopping off the face.

Stop Guessing on the Green

Sessions run 45–60 minutes and use dedicated stroke-path capture equipment.
