Turf Interaction, Not Just Spin Numbers
We measure attack angle, strike location, spin rate, and axis tilt from the same turf lies you face most often — tight Bermuda fairways, thicker rough, and greenside sand — rather than testing exclusively off a mat, which flatters bounce that behaves differently on real turf.
We also check loft gapping between your wedges, since inconsistent stock lofts across brands routinely leave awkward distance gaps between the pitching wedge and sand wedge.
What Actually Changes in a Wedge Fitting
Bounce Angle
Higher bounce suits steeper attack angles and softer turf; lower bounce suits shallower attack angles and firmer, tighter lies common on Gulf Coast Bermuda fairways.
Sole Grind
Grind shapes how the sole behaves when the club is opened for flop shots or closed for punch shots, changing effective bounce at address.
Loft Gapping
We space wedge lofts to close real distance gaps, typically 4–6 degrees apart depending on how many wedges you carry.
Shaft Flex
Wedge shafts are frequently overlooked, but flex still influences trajectory control and spin consistency on full and partial swings alike.
